Episode 44. The Great Northern featuring Lee Harnden aka Linz of Ironlak & 750 Rebels.

Beers Beats & The Biz

It’s an honour to be joined by Linz of the Ironlak writer team and the 750 Rebels for the 44th instalment of Beers, Beats & The Biz.

We are back for 2020 with an old friend, world traveler and legend of the game.

Big Linz talks everything from growing up in Townsville and discovering graffiti during trips to Brisbane to staying in The Bronx with Seen and the humble beginnings of global paint giant, Ironlak.

Between it all we hear stories about growing up in North QLD and his earliest pieces, the origins of his tag, his influences, becoming a sales rep and developing colours for Ironlak and on to travelling the world as a writer, fine artist and the many people he’s connected with during those travels.

We talk painting the cover of Trem’s FTTOHNL, Ironlak’s Killer Combo series, living with Seen, lunching with Iz the Wiz, Can Two’s technique, the importance of Brisbane MC Ken Oath, Townsville’s Realm City crew, the Ironlak Writer Team and the influence of 750 and what the crew has meant to him.

We can never thank Linz enough for his time and being apart of our first episode for 2020. We have a huge year in store and it’s only just beginning.
